So today during lecture two questions came up that I was curious about...
1. is there any evidence that supports morphine causing sphincter of Oddi spasm?
2. what does the literature show in regards to bleeding risk of single-dose ketorlac in possibly pre-surgical patients? how about in suspected or r/o intracranial hemorrhage?
I will look into the answers when I get a chance, but if anybody cares to comment, please do so.
Comprehensive Drug Card. I came across this yesterday when I had my first slow shift as an attending! I found this in the academic life in emergency medicine blog. It looks pretty comprehensive and from what I know about this drugs correct. I haven't actually printed it out, so I don't know if it works to fit in your pocket, but seems like it was designed to. I hope all is well.
